‘Déjà vu’, is an essay written for a talk on the work of Cristina Iglesias on the occasion of her solo show at the Whitechapel Gallery, London (2002).

The walk/talk took place in March 2003.

This essay was extended and published in Site-Writing (2010), and I returned to develop it in 2019, as Still Life: on returning to the theme of déjà vu in the work of Cristina Iglesias, for the new monograph Liquid Sculpture: The Public Art of Cristina Iglesias.
